Video Game Contests (League of Legends and More!)

BerryCon is proud to announce its official Video Game Tournament lineup! All tournaments take place on Saturday, April 2nd, in Krannert Undeground, and the games (and start times) are as follows: ** League of Legends 5v5 (12pm)

Super Smash Bros. Brawl (12:30pm)

Mario Kart Wii (1:00pm)

Guitar Hero (1:30pm)

Halo 4 (2:00pm)

** With the exception of League of Legends, all games will have a set 1st and 2nd prize. League of Legends will work differently. Please pay CLOSE attention to the following rules for League:

There will be a $10 pre-registration fee per team (RSVP to matt.swenson@vikings.berry.edu) or $15 at the door, in order for teams to compete. All preregistration money will go directly into an Riot Points (RP) prize fund in the form of League of Legends RP gift cards and will be distributed to the winner and possibly to a second place winner depending on prize pool amount. This fee will also give you complete access to the tournament so you can see brackets and watch your competition in action. However, for complete access to the convention, you will be required to purchase a convention pass.

The tournament will be a bracket style single elimination tournament with best of 1's in all rounds aside from a best of 3 final, time permitting.

Aurelion Sol is banned in the tournament due to his recent release to protect from new release unbalanced power.
